Whether it’s their first visit or a routine check-up, we strive to make every experience positive, ensuring your child leaves with a smile and healthy vision.
1
We start by talking to you and your child about their health, vision, and concerns. This helps us understand your child's needs and ensures they feel comfortable. We take our time and use child-friendly language to keep them relaxed, especially if they're nervous or have special requirements.
2
Our optometrists use fun, easy-to-understand techniques and gentle equipment to check your child’s eye health. We make the process simple and stress-free, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable throughout, no matter their abilities.
3
After the examination, we explain our findings to you clearly and reassuringly. We'll also offer personalised advice to help keep your child's vision healthy, ensuring they leave feeling confident and happy about their visit.
Squints (Strabismus)
Misalignment of the eyes, where one or both eyes may turn inward, outward, or upwards.
Lazy Eye (Amblyopia)
A condition where one eye is weaker than the other, often due to strabismus or uncorrected refractive errors.
Colour Vision Deficiency:
Approximately 1 in 10 boys experience difficulty distinguishing between certain colours, such as red and green.
If you notice any of these signs or have concerns about your child’s vision, it’s important to schedule an eye examination to ensure early diagnosis and treatment.
